This
course is devoted to the production of a major research essay,
25-30 pages in length, which will feature significant primary
research. In most cases, the essay will be based on the bibliographic
exercise done in History 403A. Seminar discussions will focus
on research methods and practical aspects of interpreting and
writing history.
