The midterm will be held in class. Students will have fifty minutes to write the test, which will consist of short identifications and one essay question (chosen from multiple options).

Themes will be discussed in class prior to the test.

 

Students might want to review a brief overview of Canadian history from 1867-1919 taken from the Canadian Encyclopedia to get a broad sense of developments that we have explored through the biographies in class.  It is available in PDF format [HERE]
